Issara is a mixed media textile artist based in Tura Beach, NSW, creating expressive works from reclaimed fabrics, lace, organza, wool, threads, paint, and found materials. Her practice combines hand stitching, layering, and textile manipulation to explore cultural identity, memory, storytelling, and sustainability. She draws inspiration from her early experiences with sewing and her Australian environment.
As part of her future plans, Issara aims to run workshops and community programs, teaching accessible textile techniques that encourage creativity, reuse, and personal storytelling through cloth. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, and she continues to engage audiences through participatory projects.
