In 2025 we asked photographers to "Capture the authentic spirit of life in the Bega Valley Shire, from everyday moments to stunning landscapes". The resulting exhibition lit up Carp Street during the 2025 Bega Streetlight Festival and beyond!

Following the huge success of the first Streetlight Festival in October of 2025, the 2026 event has been pulled forward to before daylight savings kicks in on September 25th. Also being darker earlier the lights and projections will shine even brighter.
