Artist EOI Opportunity: Batemans Bay Community Health

Artists with strong connections to the Batemans Bay area are invited to contribute to the new Batemans Bay Community Health facility, with expressions of interest (EOIs) for a series of art commissions now open.

The new purpose-built community health facility will deliver a range of community-based services in one location, improving access to healthcare for communities in Batemans Bay and surrounding areas.

A series of artworks will be featured in spaces throughout the new building to create a welcoming, healing and supportive environment for patients, visitors and staff.

We are seeking interest from artists, with a connection to Batemans Bay, to register their interest by sharing examples of their existing artworks and complete the EOI submission form by 11.59pm, Monday, 1 December 2025.

Health Infrastructure has partnered with South East Arts to provide professional development support for local artists, including preparation of their submission.

Artworks are destined for one of two locations within new building:

Selected artworks will be installed in the following places.

  1. A single artwork by an indigenous identified artist, which will be reproduced on the facade of the building; and

  2. Multiple artworks will be selected and hung in interview and consult rooms throughout the new building.

These artworks will reflect the natural beauty of the region, creating a calming and uplifting environment for all who visit.
More information about the EOI.

Submissions close at 11.59pm on Monday 01/12/25
