1 - The first line is the Title
Short, engaging & reflects the essence of item
Under six words - there are character limits. Clearly hint at what the news is about.
In post settings (on left of blog editor):

2 - Settings > Categories:
Achievements Celebrate local talent by highlighting significant accomplishments or milestones.
Announcement Share news affecting the creative community or solicit feedback on relevant issues.
Update Inform others about developments or changes in your project, program, or service.
Opportunities Post expressions of interest, job openings, unpaid internsips or residencies, exchanges, professional development activities, or calls for participation.
Events Promote gigs, exhibitions, shows, or other creative happenings.
Grants & funding Information on financial programs available to creatives. Grants, funding, scholarships, paid Artist In Residency programs, etc
Other Share news items that don’t fit into a predefined category, with a brief specification.

3 - Settings > Tags Which LGA is it in?
Bega Valley / Eurobodalla / Snowy Monaro / Other location

4 - Settings > General > Image
Upload one image or graphic element (preferably square and 400px by 400px).
Add 'Alt text' (Describe image, credit photographer)
File Format and Quality Considerations Use .png, .webp or .jpg formats; note that not all images will be published.
5 - Summary of your news item
Who, What Describe the essential facts succinctly in fewer than 50 words. Include business, organisation, studio name or artist name.
Kept Focused Avoid unnecessary details to make your news clear and impactful.
6 - Essential Call To Action information
Where
When
Closing dates / RSVP Always specify when your news or event will take place, using the DD/MM/YY format.
Contact info (only if necessary)
Tickets / Cost
7 - Link to more information
provide a URL to more info - essential if you want readers to do something.
